In The Spotlight: William Michael Mihalko Director of orthopedic reconstructive research, InMotion Orthopaedic Research Center

In the area of orthopedic medicine, the researchers at InMotion Orthopaedic Research Center are trying to improve the quality of life for people with conditions ranging from knee or shoulder injuries to cancer patients whose bones have degenerated to the point of needing to be replaced or enhanced. William Mihalko specializes in researching the reconstructive side of orthopedic medicine, as well as orthopedic hip and knee replacement surgery. Through the work of Mihalko and his team of researchers, InMotion not only looks at how to improve surgical and medical techniques currently used by doctors, but also to advance musculoskeletal research in the field of hip and knee replacement surgery
