Research Capabilities
InMotion Musculoskeletal research labs offer reliable and tested musculoskeletal research protocols. Each laboratory success results in novel and improved care for the musculoskeletal patient.
Regenerative Medicine/Tissue Engineering
Taking advantage of the newest biologic biomaterials and tissue engineering technologies, InMotion will perform extensive research in gene therapy, molecular biology, cell seeding and differentiation, and tissue scaffolding with the goal of finding new ways for living tissue to regenerate or repair itself.
Pre-clinical Testing in Good Lab Practices Vivarium
InMotion’s staff will include a full-time Veterinarian who will oversee functional animal performance as it relates to implant design and materials, tissue engineering and regenerative medicine studies, as well as new procedural and treatment options.
Measurement of Implant Performance
In addition to the improvement and invention of new orthopaedic implants, InMotion will perform in-house testing on implant performance, including implant assessment through static and biomechanical tests and through RadioStereometric Analysis.
Clinical Outcome Studies
Collaborating with area hospitals, InMotion will evaluate outcomes of musculoskeletal procedures, including randomized prospective, retrospective, and comparative studies. Topics will include total joint replacement, fracture healing, sports medicine, soft-tissue repair, spinal instrumentation, foot and ankle procedures, and upper extremity instrumentation.
Other capabilities
In addition to our engineering capabilities, InMotion will offer to its partners and researchers in-depth administrative solutions, including:
- Journal writing expertise
- Intellectual property process support
- Grant writing support
- Media/communications support
